Data Safety

DATA COLLECTION

hoozdown collects limited personal data during signup and we do not request more information in the app. During signup, you will be asked to provide your email address and choose a username for your hoozdown account. When users attempt to change account information, or contact support, this information is used to verify account ownership.

DATA REMOVAL OPTIONS

hoozdown provides our users with a number of data removal options.

  • Remove content that has accumulated while using hoozdown, such as chat messages, past events, rsvps to past events, and notifications.
  • Delete your hoozdown user account and completely remove all data associated with your account.

REMOVING YOUR DATA

The data removal options previously described are available on the hoozdown app and website. Logon to hoozdown, go to Settings, open the Data Removal section, and use the tools to remove your data.

Logged on users can access the Data Removal section:

In the event that you are unable to logon, or errors occur while using the Data Removal tools, you can contact hoozdown support via email at support@hoozdown.com and request data removal. This process can take some time because our support team needs to verify that the request is originating from the account owner before completing the data removal request.
